Ashley starting out by filming and editing wedding videos and ballet concerts in his home town of Moura, Queensland.

 

In 2011, Ashley spent time volunteering with the Seven Networks Local News team in Rockhampton, later landing a job with them working as an ENG operator and non-linear editor.

 

Later moving to Brisbane, Ashley persued two years of film school, graduating in 2013 with a Diploma in Screen and Media.

Since that time Ashley has worked on a range of projects including shorts and feature films.  Ash has worked on-set with numerous American actors including Tara Reid, Kane Hodder, Bill Mosely, Art Parkinson & Dwayne Johnson.   

Ash has also worked with many of Australia's own, included Ian Stenlake,
Martin Sacks, John Batchelor, Joss McWilliam, Christopher Sommers and Mark Hembrow to name a few

 

Ashley is very active within the local film industry and is never afraid to give anything a go.

In 2014, Ashley was nominated for Best Producer for the short film 'The Heist' for which he produced.

Last year, he was nominated for Best Producer for the short film 'Brothers' and Best Director for the short, 'Betty Boo'. He won Best Director.
